The Atlantic City Show is all about getting your hands on a bargain. According to various press releases for the event, there has never been a better time to invest in boats or boating equipment, so, if you’re looking for a chance to splash your cash, head to Frank S. Farley State Marina & Trump Marina Hotel Casino in Atlantic City this September for the first major show of the fall season.
The show celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and is mostly made up of powerboat exhibitors. Admission is $12 and $3 for children under 12. As a bonus, the show generously offers to sign you up to one of the following marine magazines when you buy an adult ticket: Yachting, Motor Boating, Islands, TW Surf, Caribbean Travel & Life or Soundings.
As well as the main exhibition spaces, a not-to-miss attraction of the show is the Marine Accessory Mart, where, once again, you can lay your hands on a bargain in any of the following domains: marine electronics, fishing equipment and fishing supplies, boat lifts, repair equipment and facilities, a range of training, boat financing, boat insurance and a whole plethora of other nautical supplies and clothing. There are over 100 stalls to explore, so make sure you leave plenty of time for this part of the show and don’t forget to look out for the latest in propeller design!
Of course, as with any self-respecting boat show, there are also lots of opportunities to relax and unwind after a hard day’s exploring and investing. The Atlantic show puts on lots of live music on its ‘Marina Deck’, and you’ll be able to refuel in style while soaking up the atmosphere of a diverse and exciting show.
One of the reasons Atlantic City is such a popular spot for this kind of event is its impressive 27 miles of shoreline and sandy beaches looking out across the Atlantic Ocean. As well as this boat show, the city is also famous for its casinos and for being the inspiration for the popular board game Monopoly!
